Everybody loves a great diet routine they can follow that delivers excellent results. If your goal is fat loss then you have come to the right place. In this article you will learn about a general outline of what your fat loss routine should be.

Wake up at around 8:30am and have breakfast. When having breakfast you should have a balance between fats (the good kind), carbs (the good kind again), and protein. This should also go for just about every meal throughout the day. A good idea for breakfast would be one whole egg with a couple whites, a couple slices of whole wheat toast, and a glass of orange juice. If you want bacon or ham I would go for Canadian bacon because it has the least amount of fat. Don't be afraid to cook the eggs with some olive oil to get more flavor.

Lunch should fall around noontime. You should always keep your meals about three hours apart from each other and the portions should be a little smaller. For lunch have a tuna fish sandwich with lettuce and some oil between a couple slices of whole wheat toast.

After about two hours after you eat it is time to workout. Your workout should either be cardio or weight training depending on what day it is. For weight training pick four different exercises. They could be push ups, sit ups, bench press, etc. Do 2-3 sets of 12-15 reps for each exercise. This frequency is ideal for getting toned up. If it is a day of cardio then go for a light jog or bike ride for a half hour.

After you finish your workout grab a post workout snack. The best meal to have after a workout for more effective results would a be a protein shake. If you don't have any protein powder then have a peanut butter and banana sandwich with a glass of low fat milk. It will fuel your body up and at the same time let your body recover.

Try avoiding going out to eat at dinner time. You are more prone to eating fatty foods that could hamper your results. There are alternatives though. Just be smart when looking at the menu. Obviously fast food joints should not be an option. For dinner have salmon with asparagus. Salmon is packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. Asparagus is full of fiber and goes really good with the salmon.

Before you go to bed drink a glass of low fat milk. Having around three servings of dairy every day really helps your fat loss results. Also there is a certain kind of protein in milk called casein that helps your muscles recover more when you go to sleep.

So that is a day in the life of a dieter. Not as bad as many may think. Just don't give up even if you cheat a little bit. Good luck to you.
